Before you immediately chose to tear out your cabinets, think about painting them. It’s a great way to get a new look without breaking the bank. If you want to paint your cabinets make sure you clean them first with sand, prime them and then paint them. Once they are painted make sure that you let them dry all the way before you put the hardware back on!

Accessories:
Change your color scheme with new curtains and matching hand towels. Changing the colors is a small thing that you can do that will feel like a huge change.
You can also add fun counter accessories with your new color schemes like fruit bowls or placemats.

Change Small Things:
You don’t need to make huge upgrades to make a huge difference. A great way to make a huge change is to do things like upgrade your kitchen faucet or cabinet hardware. You can also add a fun backsplash. A tile backsplash is a very cost-effective way that you can quickly redo your kitchen. Make sure that whatever material you are planning on using is dirt and water resistant!
If the backsplash is outside of your budget an affordable option is to use a stencil and paint, you just will need some artistic skill to complete this look. If you want to be cost effective but don’t have faith in your artistic skill, try some wallpaper!
 
Add Some New Lighting:
Brighten up your kitchen with a round panel LED light or if you want the kitchens lighting to be decorative look for some chandeliers or decorative lighting.
It’s normal to want to spruce up your kitchen, but actually, remodeling is a huge commitment. While you are deciding if you want to commit to the huge task of a new kitchen you can make some simple upgrades that will refresh your kitchen and make it look new!
