That might sound wonderful initially.  As you think about it, you may start to realize that a partner like that could never be an equal partner. That person would only be reflecting what they think you want.  How can a satisfying relationship be built with someone like that?  They are so busy trying to make you happy that they forget to let their guard down and let you really get to know them.  They’re often insecure and hesitant to let their own thoughts be known.

Being Happy With Yourself Is the Difference

We are social creatures and desire relationships with others.  Many people rely on their relationships to bring joy into their lives.  While some relationships are very fulfilling and can increase your satisfaction, the source of happiness must come from within.

Accepting responsibility for your own happiness comes first before any relationship can be expected to bring happiness.  Unfortunately, many people are dissatisfied with their lives. They hope that finding the right person will make the difference and that the right person will make them happy.
