Dear pessimists, optimists and realists,

While you were all arguing about the glass of waterI drank it.

Sincerely,

The Opportunist

There is much to be said about taking action. But action alone will not create the life of your dreams. You also need vision.

In my many years as an entrepreneur (it still feels weird to say that as I still feel like a beginner), what I’ve learned about success has not only helped shape my journey, but it’s allowed me to help countless others shape theirs as well. That’s the beauty of success, it can be shared! And the more you share it, the more it grows. It’s the ripple effect of abundance.

Here’s a very simple and effective formula for success that has helped me out countless times over the years:

VISION + ACTION = SUCCESS

It’s one thing to know what you want and hold a clear vision of it in your mind. But, without DAILY CONSISTENT ACTION it’s meaningless. The action part is literally 50% of the equation. No more, no less.

On Vision:

People will join you, follow you and cheer you on when your vision is crystal clear, focused and inspired. It must come from the heart and light you up from the inside out.

On Action:

Unless you can convince yourself to take steps every single day towards the realization of a progressive ideal, you can kiss your dreams goodbye. Your dreams don’t work unless you do. So get a plan in place (write it down), set up an accountability council (a few trusted people to hold you to your commitments to yourself since you may not have a boss to boss you around) and get into ACTION today.

And my final secret to successfully reaching your dreams?

Never ever, ever, ever quit!

How can you know that something hasn’t worked out unless you’ve quit? Oh yeahhhhhh, that’s right! I totally just called you out.

Seriously though, if your dream is important to you – and I KNOW that it isdo yourself a favour. Promise yourself today – once and for all – that you won’t give up on it.

Here’s my success mantra – feel free to borrow it if you think it can help: “I don’t stop when I’m tired, I stop when I’m done.”

In grand vision and never-ending success,

xo Lav
