On Friday, June 15th, the fourth annual All-Star Gala in support of SickKids will see 1,250 celebrities, young professionals and pro athletes come together for a glamorous charity night hosted by TSN’s Jay Onrait at the Toronto Event Centre. The event promises to be one of the most high-profile Toronto galas of 2018 with all proceeds going to SickKids Hospital’s piloting research on Congenital Heart Disease (CHD).
Congenital Heart Disease is the most common type of birth defect, affecting 8 out of every 1,000 newborns. Each year, 35,000 babies in the United States are born with CHD — 50 percent of them having a life expectancy of 5 years or less with causes unknown. Dr. Mike Seed, Head of Cardiology at SickKids, pilots the research project that aims to eliminate brain damage for these newborns.
This year’s semi-formal gala invites past and present athletes, celebrity guests, and live music performances by world’s best musicians and DJs as well as an open bar with raffle prizes and a silent auction. Past attendees including PK Subban, Morgan Rielly, and James van Riemsdyk.
Presented by West of Contra, tickets to the Gala are $131 each all-in, and are available at http://sickkidsallstargala.com. The funds will go towards eliminating brain damage for newborns with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) and will be matched in full by Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (SPOR) grant from the Canadian Institute for Health Research (CIHR).

The silent auction is held from 9pm – midnight. All bids starts at 50% off the regular retail value! The evening will also feature raffle opportunities for exciting vacation prizes.
