When you think about entrepreneurs dating and balancing work, what do you imagine? Long hours, being obsessed with work, and unpredictable lifestyles. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect recipe for dating? Probably not.
Dating is already hard enough for young singles in the big city. Now add on top of that the stress that goes with being a single entrepreneur, and you’ve got yourself a difficult predicament.

Is it possible for a single, millennial entrepreneurs to balance dating and running a business? Unfortunately, not everyone understands that raising a family and building relationships is just as important as running a business for entrepreneurs. It’s just harder to find someone who can work around your schedule.
Entrepreneurs can typical eat, sleep and breathe work and don’t necessarily want to put in all the time and effort it takes into finding the perfect person in this day and age. Going on dates with 5 different people a week is not in their job description. Time is money, and entrepreneurs don’t want to waste it on someone that will inevitably blow them off because their jobs are a priority. Unfortunately, work is the biggest reason relationships never seem to last for entrepreneurs.
So how do you get around this?
You have to try and find the right balance in your job and a partner with patience. Ah patience. Therein lies the issue. Entrepreneurs need to find someone that can support their hectic work schedule and is proud of what they’re accomplishing. This shouldn’t be so much to ask…Literally. The. Impossible. Task.

So where can you find them? For starters, check out the Entrepreneurs Dating in The GTA event at the Stori Aperitivo Lounge on King St. E Thursday, February 25th at 7pm in Toronto, Canada. Use this event to meet someone who understands your demanding (albeit rewarding) lifestyle at an evening of games, cocktails, and socialization. Brings friends or even clients to enjoy this experience with you. At the very least think if this as a networking opportunity to surround yourself with people that understand the daily struggles dating can introduce. Dating as an entrepreneur may be difficult in this city, but it’s not impossible.
