Rebecca Marshall has had an incredible start to 2012, with a number of exciting projects on the horizon. Last summer Rebecca spent six weeks in Cape Cod and Boston filming “That’s My Boy” with Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg, which hits theaters this Father’s Day Weekend (June 15th, 2012). Rebecca plays the role of Kelly within this ensemble cast that includes Hollywood A-listers Leighton Meester, Susan Sarandon and James Caan.
“That’s My Boy” follows the journey of dead-beat dad and foul-mouthed hedonistic playboy (Adam Sandler) who is faced with a bill for back-taxes. He arrives on his straight-laced son’s (Andy Samberg) doorsteps just before his wedding day and everything unfolds. This fun filled adventure had Rebecca working closely with the producers giving her the confidence to produce the indie sci-fi feature “Life Tracker”
Name one regrettable purchase?
One time I was obsessed with these white studded Christian Louboutin shoes and I wanted them so bad that when I found out they didn’t have my size left anywhere I bought them one size smaller. I went to a movie première in New York City that following night and I didn’t even make it to the end of the red carpet and I had to take them off and go barefoot they hurt so much. Needless to say always stay true to your size lol
Name an item of clothing that you never wear but cannot get rid of?
My bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding. And no I can’t shorten it and wear it again lol
Most desired fashion item right now?
I love lace! I never thought I would but it’s making such a comeback and some of the dresses I have seen have been so beautifully done and very classy!
Your Guilty shopping pleasure?
Scarves! I am forbidden to buy anymore! I have so many scarves that it has almost turned into a hobby more then a fashion. There is something so great about throwing on a t shirt and any style of scarf to accessorize. I love accessorizing.
What is your signature accessory?
Lol Well I think I just answered that. I also love hoop earrings and bracelets. They just add so much to your outfit.
What is your favorite Style era?
There is something so amazing about the forties. My mother always said I was born in the wrong era. I love anything with elegance and class.
What Fashion Trend you would like to see return?
Wow. The question is more what hasn’t returned. I still can’t believe we have managed to make the eighty’s look cool again lol
I do love the seventies style though. Bell-bottoms and jump suits.
What trend would you never want to see return?
Jelly shoes…. oh god please no!
Best advise to women about style?
Keep it simple. It’s okay to accessorize and be creative and always remember less is more
